In France, only 5% of the approximately 600 Michelin-starred restaurants are led by women, compared to about 15% in Italy, for example. Why is that?
We asked three generations of French female chefs: Anne-Sophie Pic, the woman with the most Michelin stars in the world (10); Coline Faulquier, a one-Michelin-star chef; and Manon Genty, a student at the École de Boulangerie et de Pâtisserie in Paris.
Joining them is also the voice of Paz Levinson, the 4th best sommelier in the world, from Argentina, who shares her experience in France.
